    At the age of 19, Spencer Caldwell accepted a 2-year mission calling for his church, serving the people of Mississippi and Louisiana. During this journey, he learned that he loved working with people. After completing his mission, Spencer was on his way to a career in dentistry when his attention was diverted to the immediate opportunities and limitless potential of real estate in his home state of Arizona. He took a break from dental school during his fourth year at Arizona State University to observe successful real estate mentors across the U.S., and never looked back. Within a year, Spencer purchased 10 investment homes and launched a profitable career, buying and selling investment properties at auction. He’d found his passion. In 2007, Spencer and his business partner Jacob Ash founded Gentry Real Estate Group and Gentry BuyLowAZ, a trustee auction bidding service, both headquartered in Mesa. Helping thousands of real estate investors and first-time homebuyers purchase investment properties, the pair sold more than $1 billion in real estate holdings. Not bad for a kid from Snowflake, Arizona—named after Spencer’s third great-grandpa—where he grew up on his family’s pig farm. Spencer’s passion for real estate is at the heart of his success. Today, Gentry Real Estate Group and its BuyLowAZteam subsidiary offers Trustee auction bidding services, and specialize in new and residential home sales, house fixing and flipping opportunities, resales, land and lots, investors, and relocations. Spencer and his wife Alisa Wares have four children—Ethan (15), Ellee (12), Weston (9), and Wyatt (6). His real estate career allows Spencer the flexibility to spend time with his family—at least some weekends!

    Andrew has spent a lifetime watching the Valley grow into the major metropolitan area it is today. Growing up, he accompanied his father, an electrical and general contractor, on job sites and participated in many areas of construction. As an adult, he gravitated to real estate as his chosen career path, winning awards for customer service and production. He spent the first six years in property management, and five years working as a sales rep for Valley home builders. His expertise includes file auditing, recruiting, training, education, and development of real estate agents. Andrew’s experiences with manager and broker mentors had an impact, which he credits for his decision to pursue a real estate broker’s license in 2000. He formed a real estate company which he later sold, taking advantage of a great opportunity to join Gentry Real Estate Group as the company’s Designated and Managing Broker. Andrew shares Gentry’s vision of what a real estate company should be, and provides valuable insight on how the company can serve the needs of agents better than traditional organizations. He maintains that professionals who think of themselves first will have no clients; while those who put their clients first will find that their own needs will be met.

  • Chelsea Jones

    Office Manager

    Chelsea has been with Gentry as the Office Manager since October 2018 and loves it! She enjoys getting to know the agents and assisting them with their transactions, helping to keep the office organized and efficient, and overseeing the day-to-day operations. She is also an active licensed Real Estate Agent. The Gentry office is a fun place to be! Before Chelsea was with Gentry, she spent the year before starting up and organizing a warehouse for a local, growing business in North Scottsdale where she worked to develop processes, manage and train staff, and help to set up the warehouse for future success. She has also spent 18 years raising 5 children, working with youth in a volunteer capacity, and managing several service endeavors. Chelsea values her relationships with her family and can be found in the evenings and weekends spending time with them at their various activities or at home.

    Cindi has worked for Gentry Real Estate in several different capacities. She worked in the Accounting Department, Customer Service, a Licensed Real Estate Agent and now as a Gentry Administrator. Gentry brought her onboard in 2018 as the Director of Recruitment and since then, her role with Gentry Real Estate has evolved to include Marketing Specialist and Events Coordinator and many other various projects. She began her career in the Cosmetology Industry, while simultaneously working as a Professional Cheerleader with Universal Cheerleading Association. She retired her “pom poms” in 2004 when she became a Mother. Cindi and her husband have 6 children and their favorite son “Loki” (the family Boxer). When the hard-working couple has free time, they enjoy spending it outdoors with their children. Cindi is a dynamic presence in her role/roles here at Gentry Real Estate. Her dedication to the success of Gentry Real Estate, combined with her fun-loving, happy nature, and her ability to incorporate a quote from the popular TV show “The Office” into any conversation, make Cindi a valued member of our team.

    Trainer

    Denise Cummings is a dedicated real estate professional. Her career with Gentry Real Estate began in 2009 as Office Manager. In that role she oversaw hundreds of transactions and assisted agents with training and compliance. In 2013 she re-licensed and committed to residential real estate full time, specializing in listings and transaction management. Since that time she has closed 100’s of transactions. Denise has been married for over 35 years and has four children. As the head of the training program at Gentry, she is dedicated to the success of the Gentry agents.     For over a decade Richard has been in and out of countless homes and neighborhoods in the East Valley, making this his area of expertise, though he has lived throughout the valley and serves clients from end to end. Richard started with one rental and expanded to include flips, private lending, various real estate partnerships, and managing the ever growing Harless Home Team where agents thrive! With a Masters Degree in Business Administration, Richard runs his real estate team and various real estate businesses as such. Their systems, processes, and flow were designed with the client in mind to create an exceptional customer service experience. His wife Amanda is an integral component as an exceptional Transaction Coordinator. Richard switched brokerages and began working with Gentry Real Estate in late 2017. He was awarded “Rookie of the Year” and has remained part of the Gentry Executive Club as a top producing agent. Having spent a number of years negotiating multi million dollar contracts and changing policy at the city level as well as through the state legislature, Richard brings a unique skillset and perspective that benefits his partners and clients alike. Richard is also the current Chair of Gentry Cares, a charitable committee designed to connect Gentry Real Estate agents with the community in a positive and productive manner through selfless service. Richard, his wife Amanda, and their two children enjoy their trips to the beach, swimming out back, and hosting dinners and events.

  • Lindsay Jones

    Recruiter

    Lindsay has spent the majority of her professional career preparing and training others to achieve excellence in their business endeavors. While attending Brigham Young University, she worked behind the scenes to organize and coordinate a popular youth summer camp. One of her responsibilities included sitting on an interviewing panel that hired hundreds of college-aged counselors to run the summer programs. After completing her degree, Lindsay took a job at a local college as a career services advisor, teaching students and recent graduates important professional skills such as best business practices, interviewing, resume and business writing, and networking. Now, the newest member of the Gentry staff, Lindsay is responsible for recruiting real estate agents to the Gentry Real Estate team, both recent graduates, as well as established agents. She believes in helping others find a professional community where they can thrive. When not on the job, Lindsay enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons (ages 5 and 3) playing outside, hiking, swimming, and attending AZ Diamondbacks games.
